Welke kabel gebruik je voor IP-camera's?
Voor IP-camera's gebruiken we minimaal Cat6 U/UTP. Die is geschikt voor PoE, levert genoeg bandbreedte en werkt tot 100 meter per traject. Voor zwaardere PoE of langere afstanden adviseren we Cat6A.
Wat is PoE-camerabekabeling?
PoE (Power over Ethernet) betekent dat de camera via dezelfde UTP-kabel zowel data als voeding krijgt. Er is dan geen apart stroomsnoer en geen stopcontact bij de camera nodig.
Leggen jullie ook CCTV/beveiligingscamera-bekabeling aan?
Ja. We leggen bekabeling aan voor IP-camera's en CCTV-/beveiligingscamerasystemen: we trekken de camerakabel, plaatsen de aansluitpunten en leveren netjes op tot in de patchkast. Het ophangen en configureren van de camera's doet jouw beveiligingsinstallateur.
Kan één UTP-kabel camera + voeding doen?
Ja, met PoE levert één UTP-kabel zowel het camerabeeld als de voeding. Dat scheelt een aparte stroomkabel en maakt de installatie eenvoudiger en goedkoper.
